SYDNEY, February 11, 2022

Hackmakers announced that it is collaborating with Oracle on its next virtual hackathon, FormulaAI Hackathon, which kicks off on February 18, 2022 and runs for four fun-filled days. Hackmakers’ racing-themed virtual hackathon will focus on data analytics, augmented reality, and 3D modeling.

The four-day hackathon is open to innovators, creators, students, faculty, and professionals from across the world who are interested in building amazing solutions for some of the biggest challenges in Racing.

During the hackathon, participants will receive mentorship and advice from experts, including Oracle experts, and will have access to tools and resources to build innovative solutions.

Participating teams will also have access to the latest cloud tools from Oracle, including its Data Science, AI and Analytics services, its streaming, serverless and API services and Autonomous Database with its intuitive AutoML capabilities, graph and spatial capabilities and low code / no code development tools. These tools, among others, will help participants develop prototypes that are practical and scalable. To help provide rapid hands-on education and advice, registrants can access free workshops.

Winners will be selected based on their video presentations, accompanying codebase, and optional additional documentation. Solutions will be judged along the criteria of consistency, originality, quality and design, and commercialization opportunity.

The event features amazing prizes and, for the winners, once in a lifetime experiences. The Grand Prize is an all-expenses paid round trip to the United Kingdom with a personal tour of the Oracle Red Bull Racing Technology Campus at Milton Keynes. Additionally, members of the team will receive a half-day training experience at the Oracle Red Bull Racing Esports Erena.

There will also be two finalists and three honorable mentions. These teams will receive prizes including gaming consoles, F1 racing video games, F1 event racing tickets, Oracle Red Bull Racing merchandise packages, newly-released books, and learning courses.
