Whew. What a year! And what a time for reflection.
We're overjoyed with our latest participation in Polygon Connect on their Made in India tour!
At Hackmakers, we believe the future is decentralized. The opportunity to collaborate with Polygon has allowed us to move closer to realizing this vision.
The month-long "Web3" Made in India Tour" effort intended to enlighten, encourage, and support the Web3 ecosystem in India. The tour culminated with the first Polygon Connect event in Bangalore on December 1, 2022, and included a total of 8 events spread out across the nation.
Sandeep Nailwal, Co-Founder of Polygon, stated at Polygon Connect's first India event: "India has a huge potential to build a good Web3 ecosystem. The nation is becoming a land of developers, and fostering the Indian developer ecosystem is essential to creating the Web3 world of the future. According to a recent NASSCOM report, India is the third-largest market in the world and is home to nearly 11% of the world's Web3 talent.
Aiming to give IRL, practical blockchain education at Guilds across the nation, the roadshow has brought together some of the most brilliant minds in the blockchain industry. Local developer communities in several places around the subcontinent were able to unite and create for a broad Web3 audience because of these Seven Guild events.
Guilds in Kochi, Jaipur, Hyderabad, Ahmedabad, Mumbai, Delhi, and Lucknow saw 120+ speakers with the best Web3 alpha.
All this is just in one country!
Hackmakers is overwhelmed to have Polygon DAO's backing as it launches the first cohort of Village Wonders, a groundbreaking initiative that offers Web3 projects built on Polygon a dedicated expansion plan, mentorship, and funding options.
Hackmakers are on a mission to build an equitable future for all through mass adoption of Web3.
What we collectively accomplished in 2022 can be summarized in a single word: “Impact”.
There is a lot to look forward to in 2023. So be sure to check the Hackmakers blog and tune in to our social channels for everything in the ecosystem.
